Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee says he won't be applying for the Scotland manager's job because he is happy at Pittodrie.
The SFA are on the hunt for George Burley's replacement after his position as the national coach become untenable after Saturday's defeat to Wales and he was subsequently sacked.
After his name was put forward last time to become Scotland boss many felt McGhee could be in line for the job this time, but the Dons manager says he has no intention of applying for the role.
"I didn't apply for the Scotland job last time," said McGhee. "I was invited for an interview after being put forward by Alex McLeish and Gordon Strachan.
"All my best mates were pushing me up there, although I don't know if they are mates or not after what happened to George.
"But I certainly won't be applying or doing anything in any other shape or form about the Scotland job.
"That was my punt at it then and it will be a while before I think about that again. I have a great job ahead of me here at Aberdeen and there is nothing else on my mind apart from that."
