Aberdeen trio Jerel Ifil, Jonathan Crawford and Tommy Wright could all return from injury against Hearts on Saturday.

Ifill and Crawford were both forced to miss the 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock last time out but have only been nursing minor knocks and should be back in action to face the Jambos.

There is also good news on Wright, who has not played at all this season because of a knee injury, and he too could be back for the weekend.

Winger Sone Aluko, meanwhile, is now back at Pittodrie having spent three weeks in Egypt with Nigeria at the under-20 World Cup finals and he, too, is in contention for a starting place on Saturday.
