Aberdeen are expected to hand debuts to deadline-day signings Steve MacLean and Jim Paterson against Falkirk.

Striker MacLean and defender Paterson joined from Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle on Monday and boss Mark McGhee will be tempted to utilise the pair on Tuesday evening in the SPL game.

McGhee needs to find a replacement for Lee Miller following his move to Middlesbrough, while Chris Maguire also left this week on loan.

Meanwhile, Peter Pawlett (knee), Andrew Considine (hip) and Sone Aluko (pelvis) are all still struggling so will again miss out.
