Accrington captain Luke Joyce believes it is vital the squad's confidence holds up ahead of this weekend's vital clash with AFC Wimbledon.
Two wins and eight defeats from their last 14 matches npower League matches has left Stanley four points above the relegation zone - a gap the second-bottom Dons will be looking to reduce.
"We believe in ourselves and we know we're a good team," said Joyce.
"You've just got to look at the start of the season and the teams we've beaten already this season.
"The run we've gone on, it does knock your confidence a bit but it's up to us as a group of players to try and not let it affect us too much."
He added: "It's a massive game. Wimbledon are a team in a similar position to ourselves in the league.
"We're disappointed with Saturday (a 2-0 loss to Aldershot) and the result so we're really looking forward to trying to put that right."
