Aldershot are without suspended captain Ben Herd for their New Year's Day trip to Barnet.

The right-back was due to return for the game at Underhill, but after Saturday's game against Torquay was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Herd will now serve the final game of his three-match ban against the Bees.

Manager Dean Holdsworth has no new injury or suspension worries following the postponement, meaning he can name an unchanged team for the meeting of the two relegation-threatened sides.

Olly Lancashire continues to be sidelined with an abdomen complaint which has kept him out of the team since October.

Fellow long-term absentee Craig Stanley is moving closer to his first appearance of the season following a broken leg, but remains a couple of weeks away from action.

The Shots are looking to record a league double against Edgar Davids' men, after a 1-0 victory in September.
