Adebayor pens Gunners deal

Emmanuel Adebayor has ended speculation over his future at Arsenal by penning a new long-term deal with the club.

The striker's future has been shrouded in doubt all summer as AC Milan have expressed an interest in him but now all the rumours will come to an end after he pledged his future to the Gunners.

A statement on the club's website read: "Arsenal can today confirm that Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a new long-term contract with the Club.

"Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Emmanuel's continued contribution to the Club over the coming years."
