Barcelona are thought to be weighing up a move for Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue, who is a free agent at the end of the season.

The Spanish giants have already set their sights on Gunners skipper Cesc Fabregas but are also believed to be targeting a new goalkeeper and right back to boost their ranks.

Barca sporting director Txiki Beguiristain has reportedly been to check on 26-year-old Eboue and has been impressed with what he has seen, especially with his ability to play either in defence or midfield.

With the Ivory Coast international a free agent at the end of the season, Barca manager Pep Guardiola may try to sign him on a free transfer in order to provide cover for first-choice right back Dani Alves.
