Arsenal and Tottenham are set to battle it out for Salomon Kalou as the striker stalls on a new contract at Chelsea.
The 26-year-old is due to fall out of contract at Chelsea in the summer and even though there had been suggestions the Ivory Coast ace could be part of a summer clear out at Stamford Bridge, the Blues are keen to keep hold.
Talks have been ongoing over a new deal but the player is yet to put pen-to-paper and both the Gunners and Spurs are keeping an eye on the situation.
Kalou is not concerned with money, he wants regular first-team action and that could see him leave the Bridge in search of a fresh challenge and more football.
A source close to the player told the Sun newspaper: "The main sticking point in the talks with Chelsea is about playing time. It's not necessarily about money."
Bayern Munich have also been linked while there is interest from clubs in France, Russia and Spain.
