Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud is prepared to offer wantaway Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh a chance to return to France.
The Moroccan international has already enjoyed a stint with the Ligue 1 outfit and was part of a successful side which claimed the French league crown back in 2009.
A spell in the Premier League with the Gunners has not gone according to plan and he was shipped out on loan to fellow English top-flight outfit West Ham United this season.
Chamakh is expected to leave the Emirates this summer and Triaud is open to bringing the forward back to Bordeaux.
He told Sud-Ouest: "For me, we can talk about a return when the player or his agent picks up the phone and calls me."
