Star midfielder Cesc Fabregas has assured Arsenal fans a move to Manchester City "would make no sense".

Spain international Fabregas is one of a number of high-profile players also including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres on a wanted list drawn up by new Eastlands owner the Abu Dhabi United Group.

However, Fabregas has insisted he is not tempted by the riches on offer under Mark Hughes and has vowed to stay at the Emirates.

He told the Sun: "It would be suicidal for my career at my 21 years of age to move to City. It would make no sense."
