Defender completes Milan deal

Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos has completed his move away from the Emirates and will spend the season on loan with AC Milan.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is happy to let the 23-year-old move on after drafting in Mikael Silvestre from Manchester United last week, while he also has plenty of other options at the back.

Senderos underwent a medical in Milan on Tuesday and the deal has now been completed after he agreed personal terms and signed on the dotted line.

The Swiss star will return to the Emirates at the end of the season but there is a chance he could join Milan on a permanent basis if he shines at the San Siro.
