Toulouse defender Serge Aurier has dismissed suggestions a deal was agreed to join Arsenal but he is keen to move to England.
Speculation continues to surround the future of Aurier, who has been tipped to leave Toulouse this summer after an impressive season in Ligue 1, but a move to Arsenal now looks unlikely as they close on Mathieu Debuchy.
Arsene Wenger, who is in the market for a replacement for Bacary Sagna, is an admirer of the Ivory Coast right-back and was reported to have agreed terms with the player last month.
However with Debuchy set to arrive from Newcastle, Wenger is sure to drop all interest in Aurier, while the player insists a deal has never been agreed.
"It was said that I had agreed with Arsenal, [that] I had already signed, [but] this is not true," he told Foot Mercato.
"All I can say is that England is the league I appreciate most. I have always given my preference for England because it is the league that best fits me. However, I have not given agreement to anyone, so I'm free to talk to clubs.
"To play in England is a dream but sometimes dreams do not come true. If PSG or Monaco are keen, I won't ignore that.
"PSG and Monaco can see the people who take care of me, and we'll see how it goes.
"What I want is a club where I am guaranteed to play."
