Euro big guns eye Gunners ace

Arsenal could face a battle to keep Aaron Ramsey after reports claimed Barcelona and Bayern Munich are both keen on the midfielder.

Ramsey was a huge hit for the Gunners last season and it was no coincidence that their title challenge faltered when the young Wales international was ruled out through injury.

The midfielder returned to the side and finished strongly when helping Arsenal secure Champions League football, while he also scored the winning goal in extra time as the Gunners defeated Hull in the FA Cup final.

Ramsey's performances and eye for goal from midfield have now attracted the attention of Barca and Bayern, who are both keen to bolster their midfields this summer, and could test Arsenal's resolve by making a move.

However, any bids are likely to fall on deaf ears as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has £100million to spend this summer and is looking to build a quality squad, not dismantle one.
