Gervinho is being linked with a move away from Arsenal with Roma and Marseille said to be tracking the Ivory Coast forward.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is happy to let the 26-year-old move on as he attempts to clear the decks in time for an influx of new blood and there is no shortage of interest.
Roma are keen to take him to Serie A and are ready to offer £6.9million, while French outfit Marseille want him on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
The Gunners would prefer to sell him but are holding out for £8million so Roma will have to raise their bid if they are to have any chance of doing a deal, while his reported £50,000-a-week wages will also have to be met.
The chance to return to France will Marseille would no doubt appeal to the former Lille star but the Gunners are not be interested in a loan deal.
