Fiorentina say they will hold talks with Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic at the end of the season in the hope of persuading him to stay.
The Montenegro forward has been linked with a move to the Gunners after another impressive season in Serie A, scoring 12 goals in 28 Serie A appearances.
With Fiorentina likely to miss out on a spot in next season's Champions League, the Viola may be forced to cash in on one of their star assets if they can't persuade him to stay.
Should the Italian club sell they are hoping to receive over ?25million for the 23-year-old, although Fiorentina co-owner Andrea Della Valle hopes it won't come to that as he prepares for showdown talks.
"We spoke with Stevan at length, and clearly, last summer," Della Valle said in Tuttosport. "We will do that again in 10 days' time, by looking into his eyes and reiterating certain ideas.
"So far, he's behaved in a very mature way and that has been appreciated. I personally hope he stays."
Arsenal are not only team interested in Jovetic, with Chelsea and Manchester City also thought to be hoping to conclude a deal.
