French winger still on Gunners radar

Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, but face competition to secure his services.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already landed Alexis Sanchez this summer but the spending will not stop there as he looks to add even more talent to his ranks.

Newcastle full-back Mathieu Debuchy is expected to sign shortly, while the club are continuing to work on a deal to bring Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira to the Emirates Stadium.

A new goalkeeper is also wanted, with a number of names in the frame, and it looks like being a busy time for Wenger as he bids to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title.

Griezmann is a name that refuses to go away after Wenger confirmed his interest while working for French television at the World Cup, but he is not the only Premier League manager who is showing an interest.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with the winger but any interested club will have to match the €30m buy-out clause in his contract.
