Gunners target hints at move

Last Updated: Thu, 27 Feb 2014 04:32

Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, who is unhappy with his lack of action in Turin.

The forward has struggled to force his way into the side as Juve boss Antonio Conte has often preferred to name Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente ahead of him.

Giovinco understands he has to fight for his place but it looks as though he could be ready to try his luck elsewhere and that could open the door to both Arsenal and Liverpool.

"I'm worth more than the number of minutes of play that I have played," he revealed. "It is only fair to admit that Tevez and Llorente are doing well. In the past I was used to playing a lot, but currently other players play more."

The 27-year-old will enter the final year of his contract in the summer and Juventus could be willing to sell if Arsenal make an approach and the price is right.
