Gunners wrap up midfielder deal

Arsenal have moved into the transfer market to sign highly-rated young midfielder Amaury Bischoff from Werder Bremen.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tracking the Portugal Under-21 international for some time and has finally managed to wrap up a Bosman signing.

The Germans had offered the player a new deal to stay with them but the 21-year-old had set his heart on a move to the Emirates Stadium so turned it down.

The player has now jetted out to Austria to meet up with the rest of the Gunners players at their pre-season training camp as he looks to push his way into the thoughts of Wenger.
