Hornets target loan swoop

ArsenalArsenal starlet Henri Lansbury has emerged as a target for Championship outfit Watford, who want to take him on loan.

Lansbury is seen as one of The Gunners brightest prospects and made his first-team debut in the Carling Cup win over Sheffield United two weeks ago.

The Enfield born England under-19 international came off the bench during the 6-0 victory after featuring in all of the club's pre-season friendlies but Arsene Wenger could now be ready to let him go out on loan.

Watford have asked Wenger about taking the wonder kid to Vicarage Road on loan until the turn of the year and the Frenchman is considering the request.

Wenger is believed to be in favour of sending Lansbury out on loan to gain some valuable first-team experience and a few months in the Championship could do him the world of good.
