Younes Belhanda says he is fully committed to Montpellier after seeing a proposed move to Arsenal fall through in January.

Arsene Wenger was known to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old Morocco international as he considered bolstering his midfield but a deal failed to materialise and he ended up staying in France.

Wenger will no doubt continue to monitor the player and could make another approach in the summer but for now Belhanda, who is rated at £10million, is happy where he is.

"I am 100 per cent focused on this club," the highly-rated star told L'Equipe. "I had a proposition, the club didn't accept it, and there is no problem with that."

Arch rivals Tottenham and Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move for the player and the chase for his signature will no doubt resume when the window re-opens in the summer.
