Podolski heading to Turkey

Last Updated: Thu, 21 Aug 2014 09:29

Arsenal are ready to cash in on Lukas Podolski, who is wanted by Galatasaray, but Joel Campbell is not for sale.

The Turkish giants are keen on both Gunners stars but boss Arsene Wenger has no intention of letting Campbell leave and will finally hand him a chance to shine this season.

Campbell impressed while on loan with Olympiacos last season and carried that form into the World Cup in Brazil, where he played a starring role for Costa Rica.

Gala want to take him to Turkey, but the striker is in the thoughts of Arsene Wenger and will battle for a place in the Gunners first-team squad this season.

However Wenger is willing to sanction Podolski's exit and Galatasary are said to be leading the race to sign the German international, who cost the Gunners £11million back in 2011.
