Queens Park Rangers have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Toulouse defender Etienne Capoue - but they must stay up first.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been showing an interest in the player for some time and now QPR chief Harry Redknapp is also keeping tabs on the situation.
The France international was a wanted man back in January and Redknapp just failed with a deadline day move for the player as the Ligue 1 club refused to sell.
Redknapp is set to move again in the summer to bring the player to west London but any move depends on the R's winning their battle against the drop.
However, even if they do stay up, Wenger will be confident about pipping them to his signature if he pursues his interest.
