Arsene Wenger says Olivier Giroud will be handed a fitness test ahead of the Champions League clash with Marseille.
The French striker picked up a knee problem during Arsenal's 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday, and Wenger revealed his concerns after the game.
Giroud has since taken to Twitter to tell his followers that the injury is not serious and he will be fit for Wednesday night, but Wenger is not sure and says the player will undergo a fitness test.
The striker is not the only concern as new signing Mesut Ozil is also doubtful.
"We have a few problems. Some with Mesut Ozil but the main one is Giroud, who has a knee problem," he told the club's website. "He will have a test tomorrow and hopefully he will be fit. But it will only be decided tomorrow.
"I have not really thought about it that much but the obvious solution is Walcott. We'll see."
