Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly being lined up to succeed Laurent Blanc by France after Euro 2012.

French Football Federation president Noel La Graet is thought to be keen on a change and has identified Wenger as the man he wants to take over from their former captain.

Blanc has only been in the job for two years after replacing Raymond Domenech following the country's poor showing at the last World Cup.

However, reports emerging from France are now suggesting that Wenger is in the frame to fill the hot-seat as La Graet is reluctant to offer his current coach a new deal despite Blanc's calls for his future to be sorted out before the summer.

Le JDD claim the president is concerned by the ex-Manchester United defender's independence as well as the size and cost of his backroom team.
