Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski, and Bayer Leverkusen's Lars Bender, are being linked with moves to Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is aware that his squad is in need of bolstering ahead of next season following an eighth trophy-less campaign in which they now face a real scrap to secure a top-four spot which will guarantee Champions League qualification.
And it is being reported that he will target the German Bundesliga when the transfer window opens for business, with a £70million blow out which the Frenchman hopes will see them back fighting it out for the Premier League title once again.
Gotze and Bender would help reinforce the Gunners' midfield, which has been recently weakened by the loss of injured duo Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby, while £25million-rated Poland international striker Lewandowski, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United, would no doubt help add to the side's goals tally.
