Arsenal are set to battle it out with Inter Milan for the highly-rated Benfica striker Rodrigo in the summer.

The former Real Madrid youngster, who spent last season on loan at Bolton, has made a huge impact for the Portuguese giants this season and Arsene Wenger is keen to swoop.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle thought he had signed the player again in the summer only for Benfica to change their minds at the last minute and he has gone from strength to strength since then.

Wenger is on the look out for a new striker in the summer and 20-year-old Rodrigo is just the kind of player he would like to sign.

Benfica will no doubt slap a huge price on the player's head to fight off interest, while the fact that Inter are also keen could throw a spanner in the works for Wenger.
