Arsene Wenger has confirmed he will hand his fringe players a chance in the FA Cup third round tie with Leeds on Saturday.

The Gunners boss confirmed that key men Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie are suffering with knocks after the goalless draw with Manchester City earlier in the week and the pair are likely to be rested for the tie with the Championship promotion chasers.

However, both Nasri and Van Persie should be available for Gunners next Premier League game at West Ham on Saturday and they could also be in contention to face Ipswich in the Carling Cup semi-finals on Wednesday as Wenger revealed it is "only a question of days" before they will be able to return to action.

Wenger has admitted he will rotate his side and Emmanuel Eboue and Kieran Gibbs are both expected to be handed starting spots against Leeds.

He said: "We will rotate. There are going to be changes, many changes."

Arsenal will also be without Bacary Sagna as he is suspended following his red card in the draw with City.
