Arsenal have reportedly won the race to sign Bristol Rovers young keeper Matt Macey, beating off competition from Everton.
League Two side Bristol Rovers confirmed in September that they were in talks with the Gunners and Everton over a possible deal for the highly-rated 18-year-old, while a number of other Premier League clubs have also been credited with an interest.
Macey spent time on trial at the Emirates last month and Sky Sports have now claimed boss Arsene Wenger is set to offer the shot-stopper a three-year deal at Arsenal.
The Pirates will be due compensation for the youngster, who is initially expected to link up with Arsenal's development squad rather than the first-team.
