Arsenal coach Terry Burton is looking forward to seeing Jack Wilshere back in first-team action as he edges towards full fitness.

The Gunners starlet has endured a torrid 14 months out on the sidelines with an ankle injury but featured for the club's Under 21 side this week against West Brom.

Arsenal, who you can back using your free bet, have missed the England international but the 20-year-old should be set to make his Premier League return in the coming weeks.

Burton was pleased to see Wilshere back on the field against the Baggies youth team and is hoping the youngster will get his match fitness up quickly so he can return to manager Arsene Wenger's team.

He said: "I think he is delighted to have been back on the pitch, as we all are.

"It is a start, now he just needs to keep working hard to play the football we know he is capable of playing, which we know is very exciting.

"What you can't duplicate in training is that match sharpness and players coming in at you, so he will have benefited from that in this match."
