Gilberto's future at Arsenal appears to be in the balance after he admitted being aware of interest from both Valencia and Juventus.
The Brazilian ace is finding life difficult at the moment as he is struggling to force his way into the first team picture at the Emirates, and has also been overlooked for the captaincy at the club in favour of William Gallas.
Gilberto was expected to become the main man in the midfield this season and, because of his continued absence from the side, there are now doubts over whether he will sign a new deal at the club, with his contract due to run out in the summer of 2009.
He told the Mirror: "I'm not sure whether I will re-sign when my contract runs out in 18 months time.
"I know there has been interest from Valencia and Juventus. We will see but I still have an ambition to win the Champions League with Arsenal."
