Crystal Palace wonderkid John Bostock is set to sign his first contract with the Eagles and snub a move to Arsenal or Chelsea.

Bostock, who has played five times for the Eagles' first team this season despite being just 15-years-old, has been watched by the Gunners, Blues and Spanish giants Barcelona.

But following talks with Palace boss Neil Warnock, he is poised to sign a deal at Selhurst Park when he celebrates his 16th birthday tomorrow.

Warnock admitted only last month that keeping Bostock, who is rated among the best youngsters in the country, was out of his hands but he has been working hard behind the scenes in a bid to keep him and appears to have been successful.
