Alan Pardew has warned Charlton's players the outcome of the next two games with Wolves and Plymouth will decide their play-off hopes.
The Addicks slipped to tenth position and two points behind the top-six places following Good Friday's 1-1 draw against West Brom at the Valley. And with play-off rivals Wolves up next at home followed by a trip to sixth-placed Plymouth at Home Park, Pardew realises it is make-or-break time.
He told BBC London 94.9: "The two games are key - we will have to take four to six points out of those games.
"They're the two biggest games we have, in terms of the contenders, before the end of the season and we need points, we're more than capable of doing that."
Greg Halford put the Addicks in front against promotion chasing West Brom, before Kevin Phillips equalised before half time. But Pardew is unhappy with the form of his strikers as Chris Iwelumo is the only forward to have scored since the start of February.
Pardew added: "Strikers feed off goals and this team is desperate for any one of them to score and get us going.
"Hopefully we can get one in the groove for next week."
