Luke Moore says he is still hoping to make an impact at West Brom before the end of the season as he targets a permanent move.

The Aston Villa striker is on loan with the Baggies until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move and he played for just over an hour for England's under-21's on Tuesday night as they drew 0-0 with Poland.

However, he remains banned at domestic level following his sending off against Leicester City.

"These things happen, it's football, I haven't seen the tackle again but some people say it was harsh and some don't.

"It happens and I'm suspended but I can't wait to come back. I remember I was in late but I don't think it was a sending off and maybe it looked worse on telly. But I've just got to get on with it.

"Of course I regret the tackle because I got sent off but I was only trying to help my team. It was an honest tackle, I'm not a dirty player and it was the first red card I've had.

"It's part of my game, chasing defenders down and I'm not going to change. But the main thing is not to get sent off again."
