Blackburn are being linked with a swoop for Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley, who could be up for grabs in the summer.

Rovers are showing a keen interest in the talented youngster and Cardiff boss Dave Jones has admitted the Bluebirds may be forced to sell in the summer unless they win promotion.

It is news that is sure to interest Mark Hughes, while Everton have also been linked.

"We are still a club which, if someone comes in like they did with Chris Gunter, the price is right and it is the right club then it is always hard to keep hold of your youngsters," Jones admitted.

"The best way if you want to keep them is to get into the division which is taking them away from you, and we are trying hard to do that."
