Gary Megson says Bolton will not go for an all-out attacking system as they try and keep themselves in the Premiership.

The Trotters currently occupy the final relegation spot and although they are just one point behind Birmingham City, their plight does not look good as they struggle to score goals.

There have been calls from the fans to switch to a 4-4-2 formation and adopt a 'gung-ho' policy, but Megson is sticking with the 4-5-1 and believes it is the best chance Bolton have of getting out of trouble.

"This club has played the same for a long time. There are different formations but it's always going to be with the same bodies," Megson said of the situation.

"We have issues if we play a certain formation. We gain on the swings but lose on the roundabouts."
