Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen was fastest in Friday practice for the Spanish Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton in 11th place.

The Finn clocked 1:20.649 in the morning and recorded 1:21.935 in the second session with more fuel on board.

Renault's Nelson Piquet Jr and Fernando Alonso were second and third respectively, with Japan's Kazuki Nakajima fourth and Raikkonen's Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa fifth overall after finishing second in the early session.

Raikkonen was more than half a second clear of Hamilton's McLaren in third place during the first session and he was 0.750secs behind after the second session.

Hamilton has struggled in the last two Grand Prix and he will be looking for an upturn in form this weekend to keep pace at the top of the F1 standings.
