Adam Scott will take a three shot lead into the final round of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship on the USPGA Tour.
The Australian, seeking his second tournament victory of the year following success on the European Tour, shot a third round 67 to extend his advantage at the Las Colinas course in Texas.
Two birdies in the last three holes has put Scott in a strong position and he is full of confidence going into Sunday's final round.
The 27-year-old said: "I feel like I'm a world class player out there but there are a host of world class players just behind me," said Scott, who is officially ranked 10th in the world.
"I don't expect the rest of those guys to lay down for me. I'm usually a good player playing from the front but I've let it slip was well. I think I've got something to prove."
Scott will have to hold off the challenge of four Americans, with Kevin Sutherland, Bart Bryant, Charley Hoffman and Ryan Moore all on five-under-par.
