A number of America's top trainers are looking to work with Amir Kahn following confirmation of his split with Oliver Harrison.
The 21-year-old Commonwealth lightweight champion ended his three-year association with Salford-based trainer Harrison, who he has worked with since his amateur days.
Despite winning all of his 17 fights as a professional under Harrison's stewardship, Kahn has decided to make a break as he now looks at securing a world title shot.
News of Khan's requirement for a new top-class coach has already reached the United States with Roger Mayweather, Buddy McGirt and Freddie Roach all believed to be in the frame to take over.
A spokesman told The Bolton Evening News: "It is nothing personal with Oliver and we hope to stay friends but Amir needs to go up to the next level."
