Andy Murray will look to reach the third round of the Open Sabadell Atlantico Barcelona when he faces Mario Ancic again on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old British number one has gone head-to-head with Ancic twice already this season, with both players celebrating one victory each.
Murray won his second title of the season in Marseille with a comfortable 6-3 6-4 in the first clash, before Ancic gained revenge with a 6-2 2-6 7-6 success in Miami last month.
The match will also see seventh-seeded Murray hope to continue his rise up the rankings after moving to 19th following two wins at last week's Monte Carlo Masters - his best performance on clay to date - before he crashed out against Novak Djokovic.
Afterwards Murray said: "It was the first time I made the third round of a Masters Series on clay, which is good for me.
"I felt like I was sort of understanding how to play a little bit better. It's been a good week for me.
"I've done a lot of things well so it gives me a bit of confidence going into the rest of the clay court season."
Ancic is also better suited to faster surfaces, but his emphatic first-round win against Mischa Zverev, in which he lost just one game, means the second round tie should be an interesting battle.
Clay-court specialist Nicolas Almagro is the probable opponent of the winner in the third round, while Spain's Rafael Nadal is also in the same half.
