Everton chief executive Keith Wyness says it is crucial that the club win their race with Aston Villa for the final European spot.
David Moyes's side sit three points above Aston Villa in the Premiership table with just two games to go. But with a trip to Arsenal to come at the weekend the pressure is really mounting.
Wyness says for business reasons alone it is crucial to keep the club's name talked about in the media.
He told evertontv: "We've had a record points haul this season but it's a crucial point in the season, everyone is so excited with the finish that we're going to have and hopefully we can pull it through - it has been a season with a lot of activity and there's a lot of talking points which is great.
"It has been the most exciting season since I've been here, which is the last five seasons, so it's great.
"But (European qualification) is crucial in terms of raising the profile of the club because you get talked about in the media if you're in a certain bracket of clubs and I think that this season we have cemented our position within that group of clubs and I think that we now have that respect."
