West Ham keeper Robert Green has played down claims of a summer move as 'paper talk', but has also denied he is to sign a new deal.

Green has been linked with a close season switch to London rivals Spurs and Arsenal, but the former Norwich shot-stopper has denied he is about to abandon ship at Upton Park.

At the same time, the England hopeful has also said suggestions he is to sign a new deal at the club are also wide of the mark.

"Nothing has been discussed. I think it's purely paper talk and as much as there is paper talk of people saying that I'm going to go to various clubs as well," Green said.

"A new contract is not something I've talked to the club about.

"If it comes long, it comes along. It's entirely up to the club and if nothing happens then so be it I've still got a long time left on my contract and I won't be sweating over it."
