Birmingham's Franck Queudrue has warned his former Fulham team-mates he is aiming to push them closer to relegation on Saturday.
The versatile French defender quit Craven Cottage to join the Blues last summer and returns to London this weekend intent on helping Alex McLeish's men secure three vital survival points and almost certainly relegate the Cottagers to the Championship as a result.
Queudrue insists he would take no pleasure in seeing Fulham go down, but realises it is case of 'us or them' going into the massive game.
"It's tricky to say which way it will go. I will be sad for my mates if we won, obviously. But this is my job," he told the Daily Star.
"I have never been relegated and I have no friends when I step on the pitch, that's not a problem. I'm a professional.
"I enjoyed my time at Fulham but hopefully we can get the result we need."
He added: "We are in a bad position. We don't need to be pretty, we just need the points.
"It's up to us to do something about it. I think it will be down to the side which holds its nerve best."
