Valencia full-back Miguel has opened the door to Aston Villa and Chelsea after admitting he is open to a move away from La Liga.

Villa have been strongly linked with a move for the player as Martin O'Neill looks to bolster his ranks, while Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on the highly-rated star.

Miguel is waiting to find out who the new coach of Valencia will be before making a decision on his future but both Villa and Chelsea are in with a chance of doing a deal if they pursue their interest.

"I do not know where I will be tomorrow, but everything will depend on my agent and the new coach," the player revealed. "I am an ambitious player and if another team makes a good offer to the club and for me, why not?"
