Roy Keane says he will not show any sympathy towards Bolton and has told his players he wants all three points.
Sunderland go into tomorrow's clash with Premiership safety in the bag but the Trotters are still in trouble and need the win to boost their chances of beating the drop.
Keane insists there will be no let-up, though, and has told his players he wants them to finish as high up the table as possible.
Keane said: "If you are at the bottom and you beat the teams around you, you have a great chance of staying up. We knew that from the outset and we've managed to get the results we were after, by and large, against the teams around us.
"Bolton are still not safe yet and they will be giving everything they have to win tomorrow's game. But we are desperate to win it too to finish as high up the table as we can.
"And anyone who thinks that I won't be too bothered about a lacklustre performance from us tomorrow doesn't know me at all."
