Porto have told Manchester United they want an offer of at least ?20million for defender Jose Bosingwa.
The Reds have made no secret of their desire to land the versatile right-back who has also caught the eye of scouts form Aston Villa and Liverpool.
With the interest rising as the end of season nears, Porto have now announced they will not consider any offers under ?20million for the former Boavista ace, who has also been linked to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"The value of Bosingwa in a deal is at least 20 million euros and Porto will not even study any offer inferior to this," a Porto spokesman told Sky.
President Pinto da Costa says ideally they would like to keep hold of him but will find it hard if Europe's elite come knocking with substantial offers.
"We do not want to sell," he said. "But if a good offer arrives then it is normal that we would look at the subject."
