Anthony Kim fired a superb six-under-par 66 to pull four shots clear ahead of the final round of the Wachovia Championship.

Kim began his round in fine fettle, carding four birdies in his first nine holes and adding another two on the inward nine to finish at -13.

The 22-year-old is only in his second season on the PGA Tour and has put himself in a strong position to land his first Tour title, and is obviously in good form after tying for second at the Heritage in South Carolina two weeks ago.

Kim is highly regarded on the Tour and now has established a four-shot advantage ahead of the last day's play, with Jason Bohn and Heath Slocum currently sharing second at nine-under.

Slocum matched Kim's round of 66 but things could have been worse for Bohn, but he chipped in at the 18th to salvage par and a round of 72.

Stewart Cink fired a brilliant 65 to share third with Dudley Hart at -8, with Jim Furyk and Geoff Ogilvy a further shot back.
