Everton boss David Moyes is being linked with a summer raid on Tottenham for midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

Moyes has seen the likes of Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta struggle with injury for spells this term and is set to bolster his options at the end of the season.

The Blues look set to secure Uefa Cup football given the fact they need just one point from their final game - at home against Newcastle on Sunday - which would be a big incentive for Huddlestone to head to Merseyside.

Spurs look set for big changes in the summer a boss Juande Ramos further overhauls the squad inherited from Martin Jol and Huddlestone could be surplus to requirements.

The central midfielder is rated in the £5m bracket which Everton would have no problem paying after another successful season.
