Blackburn are being linked with a move for West Ham's Bobby Zamora despite Mark Hughes already having four strikers at the club.

Hughes has just rewarded Matt Derbyshire with a new deal at the club and the youngster joins Roque Santa Cruz, Benni McCarthy and Jason Roberts in the striking department at Ewood Park.

Despite having the quartet on board, Rovers continue to be linked with new strikers and Zamora is the latest name to be linked with a summer switch to the club.

The Blackburn boss will move for a striker if one of his current crop were to leave, but after insisting they are not for sale, a swoop for Zamora looks unlikely at this stage.
