Blackburn defender Stephen Warnock says he is delighted to have penned a new deal and believes it is a reward for all his hard work.
Warnock has impressed since arriving from Liverpool and boss Mark Hughes has moved quickly to tie him down to a new deal that will run until June 2012.
The defender is more than happy to sign and says he must be doing something right if Hughes wants to keep him.
Warnock told the club's official website: "It is fantastic, I think the club offering me a new deal is reward for what I've been doing and obviously I've been doing something right.
"It is a massive thing to be offered a new contract and when you see how the club is progressing and how things are going then you want to be part of that, and things are going well so I can't really argue."
