Ronnie O'Sullivan says he intends to add further world titles to his record after clinching his third World Snooker Championship.

The new champion, who defeated Ali Carter 18-8 yesterday, has not pinpointed exactly how many Crucible titles he would like to end his career with but has set his sights on adding to his three current crowns.

?I would not like to put a number on it because that would be foolish of me,? O?Sullivan said on Setanta Sports News.

?Stephen Hendry is a legend, he has won seven and Steve Davis has won six. I have three, I?m halfway to Davis.?

O?Sullivan revealed his knowledge of Carter's game made the final difficult for both players.

?Everybody had high expectations of me just blowing him away really after the semis,? O?Sullivan added.

?Nobody really gave him much that much of a chance.

?And I just thought ?well he has got to the final and he can play? and the worst thing about it is I practiced with him when he was about 15, 16, 17 so I know his game inside out and he knows my game out and sometimes that is difficult.?
